The purpose of the ESL ministry is to make those of other cultures and languages welcomed at Faith Bible Church.  We seek ways to minister the Gospel to them and to integrate those who are Christians into the body of Christ. The most effective ways have been by providing classes in English as a Second Language and basic computer. Many have been helped in getting jobs and adjusting to life in America. ESL offers the international a wonderful place to make new friends which a loving church provides.

Throughout the year special events are held were speakers, skits and fellowships provide the opportunity to share the Lord. Bibles and Tracts in their language are available each week at ESL for attendees to take home with them.

ESL classes for the 2011-2012 school year started on Sept. 20 and ends on May 24, 2012. Students may join at anytime throughout the year. We offer levels 1 to level 4.

Computer classes – at present the class is full.

Fees: ESL: classes are $35 for the year (this includes registration fees and book)

Computer classes (one night per week) is $35 for the year

Combination class (one night ESL and one night Computer) is $55 for the year.

Class Calendar:

Sept. 20 to Dec. 15 7:30 to 9 pm Tuesday and Thursday

No class during the week of Thanksgiving

Classes resume Jan. 10 to May 24

No class during spring break.

The ESL staff has 20 volunteer workers who are trained to effectively serve the Internationals.
