What a great day it was last year for our annual church picnic! The weather was perfect, the food was delicious, the attendance was great and the fellowship time was wonderful. One by one, families arrived with their covered dishes and chairs for a time of visiting

and food grilled by our very own Monday night men’s group. Children and adults were seen tossing eggs, water balloons and teaming up for tug of war. It was a festive day and we are looking forward to repeating the fun time at this year's event starting at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 14th at Claude Moore Park.

The event will be starting at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 14th at Claude Moore Park in Picnic Pavilion #2.  Please plan on coming to enjoy a time of family games and relaxation while we get to know one another a little bit better.  We will be sharing dinner together at the picnic. Just like last year, hotdogs and hamburgers will be provided, but we are asking that each family bring a dish and drink to share. Last names beginning with letters A-M should bring a dessert and cold drinks for 8 (single serving cans/bottles please) while last names beginning with letters N-Z should bring a side dish and cold drinks for 8 (single serving cans/bottles please).  The sign up sheet is posted in the foyer.
