Family Faith Guide

Beginning on Mother’s Day and continuing through Father’s Day, our Sunday morning worship will be built on the theme of “Connecting with God as Families”.  As a part of that focus, I’d love to be able to provide a daily or weekly resource to our congregation based on ideas you’ve seen or used in your own family to help everyone connect with God.  It could be something that you observed as a child, or something which you’ve tried to initiate as a parent.  What worked for you in the area of family devotions?  Prayer?  How did you help your children understand who God was and how much He loved them?  What resources have you discovered over the years which you’d recommend to others?  What was the greatest faith challenge in your home?  How did you meet that challenge?

I’d appreciate your writing or emailing me with a short response to any of these or other topics concerning faith in the home.  Based on your responses, my goal would be to compile a “family faith guide” which we can distribute to each Faith household for use during this family focus period.  Also, if there’s any special topic you’d like to request that we include in the series, please let me know.
